President Obama Announces More Key Administration Posts.  Today, President Barack Obama announced his intent to appoint the following individuals to key administration posts including: David H. Segura, Appointee for Member, Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations.


David H. Segura is Chief Executive Officer and founder of VisionIT, a global IT solutions firm with headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Segura is also a founding architect and current Vice Chair of the nation’s first Hispanic senior-level IT executive organization, the Hispanic IT Executive Council, as well as a long-standing member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum which is focused on advancing African American IT leadership. Most recently he was selected by President Obama as one of the 50 CEOs to participate in the White House Forum on Modernizing U.S. Government.

Senate Testimony on Equal Opportunity Employment in Technology. One of my co-convenors in the Coalition is Jacqueline S. Anderson, who began working with Bank of America 18 years ago as a teller ... People like Jackie have an organization called Black Data Processing Associates that holds programming classes for high school students each Saturday. The chapters around the country have a programming competition each August.
