Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) is a nonprofit professional association founded in Philadelphia in 1975, which has grown to more than 2,000 members in over 40 chapters spanning 35 states. The New York chapter was chartered in 1983 and is now the third largest, with over 150 members.
