City of Cincinnati Proclamation. Now, Therefore, I, Charlie Luken, Mayor of the City of Cincinnati, do hereby proclaim May 21, 2005 to be BDPA CINCINNATI DAY, and urge all Cincinnatians to be aware of the contributions this organization makes to information technology professionals and to the education of Cincinnati's youth.

High School Level Citywide Computer Competition: Showcasing the Demand for a High School Computer Competition. The Black Data Processing Asscoiates has agreed to drive the implementation for this Citywide Computer Competition. The City of Cincinnati's role in the event can be to assist in promoting the event, to provide proclamations regarding the event to help in its promotion, and to offer City recognition as extra recognition to a select number of schools, students and educators who participate. We expect there will be opportunity for the Mayor and Council Members to be visible in their support of this initiative by attending scheduled activities.
