Black Info Tech Group Boosts Computer Legacy. The new year will mark a new beginning for an area information technology organization. Wayne Hicks, director of the Covington Internal Revenue Service Center, is leading the revival of the Cincinnati chapter of Black Data Processing Associates Information Technology Thought Leaders. The group's mission: to help Cincinnatians interested in staying on the cutting edge of information technology and promoting the industry among the African American community.

"The fear is that if we don't do all that we can do to embrace information technology that we will miss that revolution and not be a part of it," Hicks said.
